Hey, Look! Cadillac’s Back!
The citizens of the Greater Atlanta area today celebrate the welcome return of Cadillac Jack to his 22-year morning perch on Cumulus Country WKHX (Kicks 101.5)/Atlanta. It was just over a month ago — Feb. 22 — when Cadillac suffered a heart attack, and subsequently underwent surgery to install three stents to clear a blockage on one side of his heart. As Cadillac’s wife Donna recounted at the time, “Caddy was swimming and began to feel dizzy. Fortunately, my nanny forced him to call 911. It saved his life. The crazy thing is he just had a physical with an EKG that looked fine. The doctors credit his commitment to fitness and the fact that he’s only 43 for him surviving this serious a heart attack.”
This morning at 6am, Cadillac will be welcomed back in style during a live remote broadcast at Carl Black Buick GMC in Kennesaw, GA — the “Welcome Back Cadillac” edition of Cadillac Jack and Dallas Mornings on Kicks 101.5. The remote will feature free breakfast, live music and “special surprise celebrity guests from the world of Country music and beyond,” and, we’re guessing, “free balloons for the kids,” plus tickets to see Luke Bryan and four-night passes to the CMA Music Festival, including a meet and greet with Keith Urban before his exclusive acoustic performance at the HGTV Lodge.
