Houston Extended In Tulsa

• In honor of the Astros ‘recent World Series Championship, iHeartMedia Tulsa has seen fit to extend the stay of a man named “Houston,” who doubles as afternoon heartthrob on Country KTGX (106.1 The Twister) and Digital Program Director for the cluster, by inking him to a sweet new three-year deal, thus, keeping him in the Tulsa bullpen through 2020!

As Tulsa SVP of Programming Don Cristi explains to RAMP, “Houston is named for his grandfather, not the city… but the grandfather was named for the city, so, in a roundabout way he now celebrates with the city, although with a much smaller parade.”
