Meet Albany’s Newest Morning Show

• Albany Broadcasting Country WKLI (100.9 The Cat)/Albany, NY has completed construction on a new morning show — K.C. and Kelly in the Morning debuts today and features recently hired MD Kristina Carlyle paired up with station vet Pete Kelly, who is elevated from middays. Concurrently, current morning co-host Kevin Richards returns to his former longtime midday show.

Carlyle, a Western Massachusetts native, returns to the Albany market from the APD/MD/afternoon spot at Scripps Country KVOO/Tulsa. Kelly has been The Cat’s midday host since early 2017 and also oversees the station’s social media strategy.

Speaking of Richards, Bodden said, “Kevin is a legend in this market and was a longtime fixture in middays for country fans. Kevin was a great team player when he made the move to mornings a year ago but is very excited to make his way back to the middle of the day! We know Kevin will slide right back in and make the station sound even better!”
