• Entercom Country WDAF (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City has successfully procured its new morning co-host — say hello to Chris Combs, who jumps up nicely in market size from his most recent stint doing mornings on Mid-West Family Rhythmic KOSP (92.9 The Beat)/Springfield, MO. Combs actually debuted last week and is now comfortably plugged in next to co-host/MD Codie Allen.
In a staff memo, Wolf PD Wes Poe said of Combs, “Though his primary experience hasn’t been in Country music, he’s always been a fan, and being a Texas native he has an strong appreciation for Red Dirt and TX Country. We at the Wolf are very excited for the enthusiasm and focus he brings to partner with Codie, who already delivers a relatable and fun attitude to KC Country music fans.” Combs succeeds Roger Carson, who exited last month after 6 1/2 years.
