Diaz To Anchor Mornings On WMTX/Tampa
• iHeartMedia Hot AC WMTX (Mix 100.7)/Tampa Bay fills its morning show vacancy with the hire of Laura Diaz to anchor the all-new Mix Morning Show with Laura Diaz, which debuts on January 3. Diaz earns the transfer — and elevation to the first chair — from Top 40 sister WXXL (XL106.7)/Orlando, where for the past seven years she co-hosted the Johnny’s House morning show with Johnny Magic.
In making the announcement, Randi West, PD of Mix 100.7 said, “Laura’s unique female perspective makes her the perfect fit for mornings on Mix 100.7. I’m excited for her to join us in Tampa Bay!”
