Twin Cities Brace For Lunar Eclipse

• The end of an era is coming this fall to Hubbard Radio Hot AC KSTP-FM (KS95)/Minneapolis, as it was announced that Moon, co-host of the highly rated Moon and Staci afternoon drive show for nearly two decades will be stepping down later this year, putting an exclamation point on an extremely successful radio career that began 45 years ago in Nebraska and includes prior stints in Denver, Las Vegas and Houston.

As KS95 PD Leighton Peck remarked, “Moon has been with KS95 for the past 17 years and helped create an amazing franchise in afternoon drive. Not only has Moon been a tremendous on-air talent with a never-ending passion for radio, but he and Staci have dominated afternoon ratings in the Twin Cities for nearly two decades.”

Peck added. “As some may know, Moon was diagnosed with M.S. in 2005, and he has decided he needs to concentrate full-time on his health. It was a very hard decision for him to make and we will all miss his incredible sense of humor and the fun he brings to the air and in the hallways. He will leave the radio business and KS95 in early October. His partner Staci Matthews will remain, and while it will be a monumental task to find a replacement we will begin a nationwide search for the next afternoon drive star right away.”

Qualified candidates for this amazing opportunity are invited to send their best stuff to Jobs@KS95.com or LPeck@KS95.com.
