Albom Rocks Detroit Rock City
Last Thursday, December 7, the 6th Annual Mitch Albom S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon raised a record $1,258,000 for Detroit-area charities. The marathon 15-hour broadcast was anchored by Mitch Albom, host of The Mitch Albom Show weekdays from 5-7pm on Cumulus News-Talk 760 WJR/Detroit.
The Radiothon played host to dozens of celebrity guests including: Dr. Phil, actors Hugh Jackman and Hank Azaria, Detroit Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford and many more. Best of all, 100% of the funds raised will support the Mitch Albom Charities and other Detroit-area charities.
