Bonneville Launches John Clayton Memorial Fund

KIRO-AM (Seattle Sports 710) and Bonneville International are honored to announce the John Clayton Memorial Fund in memory of legendary sports personality John “The Professor” Clayton, former longtime ESPN NFL analyst and a fixture on Seattle Sports for the past 14 years, who passed away last Friday, March 18.

The John Clayton Memorial Fund will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a MS research organization supported by Clayton and his wife, Pat. The Fund has received an initial investment of $10,000 donated by Bonneville International Corporation, the parent company of Seattle Sports.

“The MS Society was an important charity for John and his wife Pat,” said Cathy Cangiano, SVP/Market Manager of Bonneville Seattle. “The John Clayton Memorial Fund is a wonderful way for everyone to honor his memory and make a difference in the lives of others through a cause that meant so much to John.” Darrell Brown, President of Bonneville International, remarked, “Part of our company’s mission is to give back in the communities where we serve. John was a valued employee who used his own powerful voice for good. We believe this is the best way to honor his memory.”

Donations to the John Clayton Memorial Fund will be accepted at SeattleSports.com/ClaytonFund, and 100% of all funds received will be donated to the MS Society. Those interested in joining the Pat Clayton Team at the Walk MS event in Seattle on April 24 can register online. Additional plans to support the 2022 Walk MS event will be announced in the days to come.
