Last Dance, Great Chance For WSOU
WSOU GM Mark Maben said, “With social distancing and spectator limits, broadcasting these games on FM is a way that WSOU and Seton Hall University can give back to the community. By tuning in to 89.5 or listening via wsou.net, parents and fans can experience the excitement of the tournament’s culmination. After all New Jersey has been through during the pandemic, these broadcasts are a reminder that we can all find some joy and comfort in America’s pastime.”
WSOU will be broadcasting three games on 89.5 FM, starting with one of the two semifinal games for the North championship on Tuesday, July 28 at 1pm. Coverage will continue with the North championship on Wednesday, July 29 at 7pm, and conclude with the Last Dance Championship this Friday, July 31 at 7pm from Arm & Hammer Park, the home of the New York Yankees’ Double A club, the Trenton Thunder. Tournament updates with start times can be found on the WSOU Sports Twitter feed @WSOUSports. [Wilnir Louis photo credit: Rony Jerez]
