• Listeners to the McIntyre In The Morning show yesterday on Cumulus News-Talk KABC/Los Angeles received a jolt when longtime host Doug McIntyre announced he was unplugging from the show and leaving the station after his show this Friday.

The video of McIntyre’s announcement is posted on his Facebook page, accompanied by this note, which read, “The time has come for me to say goodbye. After 22 years, I will do my last show at KABC this Friday, December 14th. What a great run and wonderful experience it has been. This was a tough call, but I appreciate KABC management for respecting my decision. Please join us for this final week, 5-10am. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for listening all these years!”
