Takes Balls To Do Sports Radio
• Alpha Media Sports-Talk WMEN-AM (640 The Hurricane)/West Palm Beach is making excellent use of a talented resource already in the building — Kevin Rolston (left), host of The KVJ Show across the hall on Hot AC WRMF (and self-proclaimed sports fanatic), is joining The Hurricane to host a new sports show weekdays from 3-4pm, starting Monday, February 26.
Rolston’s new show, cleverly titled Kevin’s Other Show will be part of 640’s all-star lineup that includes Colin Cowherd and Dan Patrick. Commenting on his fearless foray into brand extension, Rolston said, “I’m not sure if this opportunity is really a compliment to [management’s] faith in my broadcasting ability, or just an attempt to stop me from talking about sports on a Hot AC morning show. Either way, I’m pumped!”
