Official WPLJ Tribute Coming Soon

• As Cumulus Hot AC WPLJ/New York prepares for the unthinkable — its final date on the air prior to the closing of its pending sale to EMF, the station’s management is planning an official two-part special farewell broadcast for loyal PLJ listeners — the tribute will bring back some of PLJ’s greatest jocks, special guests, and all those people who have made the station so special since the ’70s, including current PLJ staffers.

Chad Lopez, VP/Market Manager of Cumulus New York, said, “We are preparing to honor and send this legendary radio station off in the way that its listeners, advertisers and staff deserve.
