Bert Show Now 25% Moe Better
• On Wednesday morning, The Bert Show officially introduced the newest member of it’s YEA Network-syndicated morning radio family — Maurice “Moe” Mitchell will now man the 4th mic alongside host Bert Weiss and co-hosts Kristin Klingshirn and Davi Crimsons weekdays from 6-10am ET in over 17 markets.
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Moe found his way into comedy by doing voiceovers and writing commercials for actor/comedian D.L. Hughley. Since then he’s been performing in comedy venues across the country and spent the last few years exploring various comedy-related ventures, including his witty astrology videos, Moements — Why I Hate Your Sign.
“I’m super excited to be the newest member of this amazing family and I hope to be someone everyone feels like they have known forever,” said Mitchell. “As a stand-up — and sometimes sit-down — comedian, I’m looking forward to filling people’s hearts with joy, and using laughter as medicine. I really use life experiences to help people experience life.”
Mitchell was initially introduced to a select group of listeners on Tuesday evening during a Bert Show-hosted comedy night at the Punchline Comedy Club that featured stand-up sets from several comics, including co-host Davi Crimmins. “Moe has the same mentality as the rest of the show when it comes to connecting and showing the intimate sides of his personal life,” said Weiss. “I feel like he’s a unique piece and completes our puzzle. He’s funny. He’s approachable. He’s smart.”
