Boise Braces For ‘Fast In The Morning’
• Iliad Media Group (Impact Radio) in Boise, ID announced the imminent launch of a brand new local morning show on Top 40 KWYD (Wild 101) — Fast In the Morning, featuring Nathan & Rebecca Fast debuts Monday, June 8.
Darrell Calton, CEO of Iliad Media Group said, “The breakup of syndicated Brooke and Jubal as a team, became our opportunity to invest in a local morning show on Wild 101. Nathan and Rebecca will deliver fantastic, and entertaining local content for radio and beyond.”
As we reported back in February, Fast is a Boise radio veteran who returned to town as Creative Media Strategist for Iliad’s seven-brand group. He previously spent several years in Dallas, doing mornings on Cumulus Country KPLX (99.5 The Wolf) and former CBS Radio Top 40 KVIL (AMP 103.7). Earlier in his career Fast did nights across the street on KSAS (103.5 Kiss FM)/Boise.
Impact Regional Operations Manager James Garner commented, “If the COVID-19 experience has taught us anything, it’s the need to have local personalities who can tell the stories of our listeners in a way that no syndicated show can. Nathan and Rebecca met in Boise a decade ago during Nathan’s run as a night show host, before his career took him to big-league radio in cities like San Diego, Los Angeles and Dallas.”
Two states — and two daughters — later, Nathan and Rebecca have come full-circle back to the Treasure Valley to host Fast In The Morning, which launches on June 8.
