Tanner & Jake Packing Them In Again
• Woodward Radio Group proudly welcomes a couple of familiar looking guys back into the Green Bay-Appleton-Oshkosh, WI region — Jake Kelly and Tanner Jay are taking their talents to morning drive on Woodward Top 40 WKSZ (95.9 Kiss FM), where the Jake and Tanner Show debuts at 5am today. This marks a return to Northeast Wisconsin for the popular show that was formerly heard in afternoons on Midwest Communications’ Top 40 WIXX/Green Bay until two years ago.
Kiss Brand Manager Joe Marroe said, “Jake and Tanner bring what you cannot get from other mediums — personality and fun. They are an infectious duo that will keep our current listeners, and new listeners, coming back for more each day. I am very excited to have them as a part of the Kiss FM family.” GM Kelly Radandt remarked, “We are continuing with our ‘Good People, Real Solutions, Shared Results’ promise to our listeners and clients by bringing Jake & Tanner on board here at our employee-owned company. We look forward to adding their chemistry and enthusiasm to 95.9 Kiss FM.”
Kelly (left) commented, “We are so excited and grateful to come back to the place we love! As we always say, ‘You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em… know when to walk away, and know when to run.’ That’s how Tanner and I live our lives.” Tanner (right), retorted, “We never say that, and if you’re going to keep using dumb Kenny Rogers quotes, I’m just not doing this right now.”
Jake and Tanner succeed the married morning team of Doug Erickson and Mary Love, who exited last month, along with their producer, Travis Cleven.
