Wango Tango 2020 Canceled
• iHeartMedia Top 40 KIIS-FM/Los Angeles announced that, for the first time since its inception in 1998, its annual massive Wango Tango summer concert has been canceled. The 2020 edition was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, CA.
The official statement reads, “Due to the uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and for the health and safety of our guests, employees, artists and partners, we have decided to cancel this year’s iHeartRadio Wango Tango. Refunds are being issued to ticketed guests. If you purchased your tickets via AXS online, a refund will automatically be issued to the credit card you used to purchase within 30 business days.”
Harry Styles, who was the first Wango Tango performer announced back in January, recently postponed the European leg of his Love On Tour until 2021 as the coronavirus pandemic continues across the globe. Styles was set to kick off the 26-date tour in Birmingham, England on April 15.
