NOLA Turns Up The Heat

• In an effort to improve its local coverage area, Entercom Classic R&B 1350 WWWL-AM (Hot 103.7)/New Orleans has upgraded to a new translator and has rebranded as the New Hot 92.9 FM (W225CZ).

As it was explained in the press release, “The new frequency will reach a broader fan base in the Northshore area and improve the listening experience for the adjoining New Orleans metro areas.” No changes in programming are expected — Big Abe remains in morning drive and Kelder Summers will continue in afternoon drive.

The station debuted Wednesday on its new frequency, with new call letters, and the signal will be simulcast on both frequencies until further notice.
