Canale On The Loose

• COVID-19-related budget cuts have come calling again, this time at SummitMedia Wichita, KS, as Frank Canale has exited his dual role as PD of Active Rock KICT (T95) and Classic Rock KFXJ (104.5 The Fox) after a six-month run.

Canale joined SummitMedia Wichita last fall, replacing Pete McNair, who had moved back home to Tucson for family reasons. Canale segued from Townsquare Media Bismarck, ND, where he programmed Classic Rock KBYZ (96.5 The Fox) and Classic Hits KACL (Cool 98.7). Previous stops include KXTE/Las Vegas and The Peak/Denver. Earlier in his career Canale worked for Z100 and the late WXRK (92.3 K-Rock)/New York.
