Cova On The Loose

• Budget cuts have caused Billy Cova to exit his 7-midnight gig at Adams Radio Group Top 40 WJFX (Hot 107.9)/Ft. Wayne, IN after a year in the position. Cova tells RAMP he had achieved “top 4 ratings in key demos” prior to his departure.

Cova started his career at former Entercom Top 40 WDZH (98.7 AMP Radio)/Detroit, working his way up from weekends/fill-in to nights, where he stayed until November 2018, when the station flipped to Soft AC.

Mr. Cova is now looking for his next opportunity in Top 40 or Hot AC; location or daypart is not an issue, he says. “My demo ready — just email me at wncova@gmail.com.”
