Dave Mason On The Loose
• Entercom Classic Hits KXSN (Sunny 98.1)/San Diego has parted ways with midday personality Dave Mason, the end result of some corporate restructuring. We understand that PD Brooks O’Brian is now handling the midday show.
Mason is a San Diego market veteran who joined Sunny for mornings in early 2017 and moved to middays in Feb. 2018. Mason previously spent two years across the street as APD/midday personality and Imaging Director at Broadcast Company of The Americas’ now defunct Classic Hits XHPRS (105.7 MAX FM)/San Diego. Before that he was APD/MD at CBS Radio Classic Hits KRTH (K-Earth 101)/Los Angeles, preceded by an earlier five-year run as APD/midday jock at XHPRS/San Diego under its former handle, 105.7 The Walrus.
