Entercom Seattle Shrinkage
• RAMP has confirmed that Entercom Seattle has parted company with Jamie “Tanch” Tanchyk, APD/MD/midday personality at Rhythmic KHTP (Hot 103.7), Jeanne Ashley, morning co-host at AC KSWD (94.1 The Sound) and Cody Whistler, night jock on Alternative KNDD (107.7 The End), reportedly the result of budget cuts.
Prior to his arrival in Seattle in April 2014, Tanch (left) was PD/middays at Albany Broadcasting Triple A WZMR (104.9 The Peak)/Albany, NY — the market where he spent the bulk of his radio wonder years. Before that he programmed Townsquare Media Urban Hot 99.1 and Albany Broadcasting Rhythmic WAJZ (Jamz 96.3). He was also APD/night jock on Albany Broadcasting Top 40 WFLY (Fly 92.3) and did weekends on Entercom Top 40 WODS (103.3 AMP Radio)/Boston from 2013-2014. • Ashley (center) joined The Sound a year ago after a six-year run in afternoons at Cox Media AC WFEZ (Easy 93.1)/Miami. Before that she did nights at Entercom AC rival WLYF (101.5 Lite FM), and she’s probably best known for her 11-year run at KCKC (Star 102.1)/Kansas City.
