JC Fernandez: Free Agent
• After nearly three decades of service with Audacy Hot AC KMXB (Mix 94.1)/Las Vegas, the past 11 years as co-host of Mercedes In The Morning, JC Fernandez has exited.
Fernandez shared news of his departure in an Instagram post that reads, in part, “After 27 incredible years, my time at Mix 94.1 has come to an end. I’ve been thinking about what to say in this post and when it comes down to it, what I really want to say is simple: Thank you!”
Fernandez joined the station in 1997, and the following year was named Executive Producer of the former Mark & Mercedes show. When original co-host Mark DiCiero exited in late 2014, Fernandez was elevated to replace him on the rebranded Mercedes In The Morning.
The post continues, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making these 27 years so special. I’ll carry these memories with me forever… 2025 begins a new era for me… I truly believe that life happens for you, not to you! I’m excited about new opportunities that are presenting themselves, AND you can still find me on Channel 8 with Las Vegas Now and weekly on my YouTube show, Cars, Shops & Collections!”
Audacy has now posted the opening for a new co-host for Mercedes In The Morning.
