KVGS Simplifies, Music The Star

RAMP has learned that Beasley Media Hot AC KVGS (Star 107.9)/Las Vegas has made the decision to streamline its on-air presentation, opting for a jockless delivery and limited spot loads to enhance the music flow.

As a result, the company has parted company with APD/MD/afternoon personality Brian “Hammer” Panerali, midday talent Pomai and evening entertainer Drea. PD Kris Fisher remains aboard, but steps down from mornings.

Hammer (left) told RAMP, “While this is very unfortunate, I couldn’t be more grateful to the Beasleys for an unforgettable experience over the past six years, and I’m thankful for the opportunity they provided to advance my expertise in our industry. I hope I have the pleasure of working with them again!”

Hammer began his radio career as a promotions assistant at WXRK (92.3 K-Rock)/New York and later worked at WBAB/Long Island and WDHA/Morristown, NJ. He spent the next decade in Bakersfield, Idaho Falls and Phoenix before joining KVGS in 2013. While waiting for his next opportunity, Hammer is expanding his V/O business and welcoming more voicetrack clients, having already locked in afternoons on Classic Hits KOAI (95.1/94.9 The Oasis)/Phoenix. Check out his demos and contact Hammer at bpvoices.com or 480-270-2084.
