Meet Radio’s Busiest Free Agent
• Dino Tripodis, legendary longtime host of Sunny In The Morning with Dino & Stacy on Saga AC WSNY (Sunny 95)/Columbus, OH has left the station after a remarkable 24-year run. Friday, June 15 was his last day. As Dino announced, “After 24 years at this place that I love… it’s a time for change. There are so many things I have yet to do… and if not now, when?” Dino’s farewell is posted at Sunny95.com.
No replacement has been named yet by PD Michelle Matthews. For now, Dino’s longtime cohost Stacy McKay is flying solo.
Looking ahead, Dino won’t have a whole lot of time to be bored — he’s busy writing a book that will be finished by the end of the year. He also wrote, produced and stars in a film, The Street Where We Live, and is starting to write his next one… and a play. He’ll also continue to attend to his longtime stand-up career and produce his podcast, Whiskey Business.
