Meruelo Furloughs Become Terminations

• UPDATED, 8/4: As RAMP was closing up shop Monday night we received word that Meruelo Media Los Angeles has formally terminated several employees that were originally furloughed back on March 16 — among the names we have heard are Wendy Ellis, KLOS Marketing Director; Fernando Lujan, 30-year company veteran and Promotions Manager for KPWR (Power 106), KDAY and KLLI (Cali 93.9); Becky Lopez, Programming & Music Supervisor for Power 106 & KDAY; Jerrell “Boogie” Lowery, Street Team Manager and the entire street team, and Mixers  DJ Ever, DJ P-Jay, DJ Los and Disko Drew.
