• RAMP has confirmed more departures at Entercom Alternative KITS/San Francisco, which recently underwent a rebranding from Live 105 to ALT 105.3 — the crew of the Kevin Klein LIVE morning show (Kevin Klein, co-host Ally Johnson and Producer “Dead Eyes“) has exited, along with afternoon drive personality Danica. No replacements have been named as of yet.

Klein took over the Live 105 morning show in August 2014, sporting a radio resume that included the late WXRK (92.3 K-Rock)/New York as well as SiriusXM, where he hosted the Playboy Morning Show and also worked for MTV/VH1 Radio. He inked a multi-year extension with KITS in October 2016.

Klein broke the news of his departure in a rather unsettling homemade hostage video posted to Facebook:

• In late November we reported that Entercom had flipped former CBS Radio Top 40 WQMP (101.9 AMP Radio)/Orlando to Alternative as ALT 101.9. As a result of that move, former AMP afternoon drive personality Danie Buchanan, a.k.a. Danie B. is now available.

Daniel (left) arrived in Orlando in July of 2016. Before that she did afternoons, and later, mornings on Albany Broadcasting Rhythmic WAJZ (Jamz 96.3)/Albany, NY. She began her career as a Traffic Producer and anchor for Total Traffic and did weekends on iHeartMedia’s WiLD 105.7 and 96.7/Atlanta. She also did middays on WZRT (Z97.1)/Rutland, VT and weekends on WODS (103.3 AMP Radio)/Boston and WSPK (K104)/Poughkeepsie, NY.
