• RAMP has confirmed that Chadd & Kristi Thomas have exited mornings on Beasley AC WPBB (b98.7)/Tampa Bay. Their last day was Nov. 26. Chadd Thomas was also PD. The married morning duo joined Beasley in February 2017, crossing the street after a 16-year run on Cox Media Group AC WWRM (Magic 94.9).
We are told that a new morning show will be introduced after the holiday music ends… after the holidays. In the interim, PD duties are being handled by WQYK PD Travis Daily and Ted Cannarozzi.
• After 11+ years with Lotus Alternative KFMA/Tucson, midday personality Emil “Boy Wonder” Richardson has exited. Richardson (left) was also host and curator of the station’s long-running new music specialty program, Test Department.
In a statement, Richardson said, “I have nothing but respect for the team at KFMA, and am thankful for my time there.
