Pros On The Loose
• Hubbard Radio’s KNUC (New Country 98.9 The Bull)/Seattle has parted ways with APD/MD/midday talent Wingnut. Brand Content Director Scott Mahalick is now actively seeking a successor.
Mr. Nut joined The Bull in May 2019, coming off a nine-year run as APD/MD/afternoon jock across the street at Audacy rival KKWF (100.7 The Wolf). Wingnut’s earlier radio stops include a couple of former Wolf outlets —KBWF (95.7 The Wolf)/San Francisco and KWOF (92.5 The Wolf)/Denver (where he also worked for Scott Mahalick) as well as KNTY/Sacramento.
As we speak, KNUC afternoon driver Bryan “B-Dub” Washington is now fielding music calls, while the station has now posted for a fulltime APD/midday host. Interested candidates can apply online. Wingnut is now reachable at Wingnutt@me.com.
