Pros On The Loose: ‘Dash’

• With the looming February 2 flip of Audacy Throwback WBMX (104.3 JAMS)/Chicago to a simulcast of Sports-Talk sibling WSCR-AM (670 The Score), RAMP has learned of another departure from the building — Jordan “Dash” Weiss exits afternoon drive on WBBM-FM (B96) after nearly three years. We understand that veteran Audacy personality Sonic, currently doing afternoons on JAMS, will be moving over to pm drive on B96.

Dash joined B96 as afternoon talent in June of 2023 during a major rebrand, crossing the street from Hubbard Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix), where he had done nights for three years. Dash previously served as a Social Media Manager for Second City, and as on-air talent and morning show producer for Hubbard AC WSHE. Dash got his radio start at 107.1 WPGU/Champaign, IL while attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

“I loved being on B96,” Dash tells RAMP. “We had so much fun during afternoons… every caller was my co-host, we were all from Chicago, me being a native, and boy, were there a lot of callers!”

He added, “I worked with AEs and won the company revenue during just those first potential client interactions, saved clients who had million-dollar buys from leaving radio all together, gained the brand millions of organic impressions on social media, and maintained the highest cume daypart on the station. Proud of my time at B.” Going forward, Dash can be contacted at livewithdash@gmail.com.
