Pros On The Loose: Nikki Blakk
• Three years after her return to Cumulus Classic Rock KSAN (107.7 The Bone)/San Francisco, year-end budget cuts have unfortunately caught up with afternoon drive talent Nikki Blakk.
Ms. Blakk broke her news in an Instagram post that reads, “Coming back to the station for the last three years has been heartwarming and I was genuinely looking forward to many more, but unfortunately fiscal cutbacks are commonplace & this year was my turn.”
Blakk is a Bay Area native who started her radio career as an intern at The Bone back in the day while attending San Francisco State University. She went on to work at KMRQ (Rock 96.7)/Modesto, CA, the late KSJO/San Jose, the former KXFX (101.7 The Fox)/Santa Rosa, CA before returning to The Bone for another decade until 2015, when her career took her into the concert business, including a stint as Jackson Browne‘s Road Manager.
