TV Redemption For Billy Bush

• Television and radio veteran Billy Bush, who lost his lucrative Today show gig in 2016 in the wake of his uncomfortably close proximity to the now infamous Donald Trump/Access Hollywood tape, has found his way back into television. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bush has been hired to anchor Extra Extra, an updated version of the syndicated entertainment show, which will debut this fall when Extra moves to Fox.

As we all know by now, Bush was let go from Today in 2016, shortly after 2005 audio emerged of him and then-presidential candidate (and Apprentice host) Trump talking on the Access Hollywood bus. Bush and Trump both apologized, but Trump went on to famously dismiss his comments as “locker room talk.” Bush was suspended and ultimately fired from Today shortly after the tape emerged… and we all know what happened to Trump…
