Woody & Jim Exit Nashville’s 107.5 The River

• In a surprising turn of events, RAMP has confirmed that iHeartMedia Top 40 WRVW (107.5 The River)/Nashville has parted company with morning duo Woody & Jim, who exited last Friday, May 19 after a 25-year run. The duo joined The River in 1998 after honing their act for seven years at Pamal Top 40 WFLY (Fly 92)/Albany, NY.

The station offered no additional information or explanation about the departure of Woody Wood and Jim Chandler, other than this formal statement that reads: “As of May 19, Woody and Jim will no longer be part of the WRVW morning show. We appreciate all their contributions during their time with us and wish them well in the future. The Morning show will continue with Ricki and Zac as well as additional talent to be added soon.”

Co-host Ricki Sanchez just joined the show in early April after a stint as co-host and producer of the former Zach Sang Show, while Zac Woodward has been with the morning show for nearly a decade. Stay tuned for further developments.
