• Cumulus Alternative KCJK (X105.1)/Kansas City has a prime afternoon drive spot open as Shawn Quinn exits. Quinn originally joined X105.1 to do mornings in Sept. 2016 and recently shifted to afternoons when the station picked up the Premiere-syndicated The Woody Show in mornings.

Candidates for this awesome drivetime position must have a passion for the Alternative music scene and represent the lifestyle of the X105-1 audience on the air, via social media, and on-site at station events. That means you love/know the music, like going to shows (we get a lot of shows in KC), you like interacting with people, and you keep up with what’s trending. This gig also includes some production, station imaging, online streaming and web maintenance duties.

The host we’re looking for should have a successful track record on-air in a PPM market. We want the best of the best crafting delivery of brief, unique and relevant breaks that enhance the station, our promotions, and branding of the other great shows and features on X105-1. Important fine print: technical experience with on-air control consoles, automation and VoxPro required.
