Mike Ryan Buys Alarm Clock
• Congrats to Mike Ryan, evening entertainer on Albany Broadcasting Top 40 WFLY (Fly 92.3)/Albany, NY, who will soon be achieving his twin goals of a) doing a morning show, and b) gaining valuable programming experience — he has been awarded a 45-minute transfer north to Top 40 sister WKBE (107/1 The Point)/Glens Falls, NY as morning personality and APD/MD, starting in December.
Ryan (left) has been doing nights Fly 92.3 for the past two years, working his way up from part-time on Rhythmic sister WAJZ (Jamz 96.3). As OM Jon Reilly tells RAMP, “Mike will be finishing out the Fall book in Albany and then start his new responsibilities on Monday, December 10.” Ryan will replace Ben Ryan (no relation), who recently transitioned over to mornings on Country WFFG (Froggy 100.3)/Glens Falls.
