More Amazing Opportunities
• The nationally syndicated The Bert Show is seeking a new co-host to plug in next to host Bert Weiss and co-host Kristin Klingshirn, as it was announced that Brian Moote is leaving after two years to become the new morning co-host (with Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo) at Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio)/Los Angeles.
RAMP spoke with Bert about the opening, and he said, “We are looking for somebody super-funny, quick-witted and willing to be totally transparent about their personal life. This person has to be endearing to women and experience takes a back seat to personality.” Bert told us he would rather hear examples of on-air conversations rather than talking up song intros, as the show is built on long-form personality-driven breaks.
He added, “Our show’s chemistry and openness are really unique. Anybody who is willing to jump in with us can send all the details and segments that highlight their PERSONALITY to cohost@thebertshow.com.” The Bert Show is based at Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ (Q100)/Atlanta.
