Candidates must demonstrate creative instincts in finding local stories. He or she must have efficient and effective writing skills and the ability to react to breaking news. The successful candidate should be familiar with news-gathering tools and be comfortable with social network postings and usage, including video for digital assets. Prior experience writing, producing, and reporting news is required.
