• Entercom Alternative WSFS (104.3 The Shark)/Miami now has a prime opportunity for an MD/afternoon drive personality, as Zach McHugh announced he intends to move back to North Carolina for family reasons. McHugh landed in Miami in September 2016, transitioning from the APD/morning spot at Sunrise Broadcasting Alternative WRMR (Modern Rock 98.7)/Wilmington, NC.

McHugh is a native of Rochester, NY who began his radio career at WRKT (Rocket 101)/Erie, PA. He later ended up in Wilmington, NC as PD/afternoon dude at the former WBNE/WBNU (The Bone), and in 2011 he signed on WRMR. Explaining his decision to return to NC, McHugh said, “Though this was a dream job for me both personally and professionally, South Florida simply wasn’t the best fit for my family. I hold John O in the highest esteem; I was involved in pretty much every aspect of the program on a daily basis. The Shark continues to shatter all expectations Entercom ever had for it.
