Wake Up In Albany!
• Albany Broadcasting now has a prime morning show opportunity available, as it was announced that Kristina Carlyle (left), MD and co-host of the KC and Kelly morning show on Country WKLI (100.9 The Cat)/Albany, NY will be leaving for a new gig TBA. Her final broadcast will be Friday, Sept. 4. Carlyle joined The Cat in April 2018, after a stint as APD/MD/afternoons at Scripps (now Griffin) Country KVOO/Tulsa, OK.
PD Jon Reilly commented, “Kristina has done an amazing job for The Cat, and at this time we are searching for her replacement.” The new person will plug in across from current WKLI co-host Pete Kelly (right).
Albany Broadcasting is now actively looking for a CHR morning show personality for locally-owned WKLI. This is a high-profile position. If you have a personality, a great sense of humor, know how to relate to 18-44-year-old women and know the difference between a shift and a show, can organize daily prep, develop creative and topical ideas — send your stuff now! This is not an entry-level position and you must also be amazing at social media and blogging and have the evidence to prove it, as this will be a huge component of the job.
