Wanna Wake Up In Knoxville?

Last week it was announced that Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer were stepping down from mornings on Cumulus Country WIVK/Knoxville, TN after a successful 20-year run. That being said, it’s now time for the torch to be passed to what will be only the fourth morning show in the station’s illustrious history.

WIVK is looking for personalities who can entertain all ages and attract listeners from all formats. Join the Flagship Station of the Tennessee Volunteers and the Capitol of Country music in East Tennessee. There have been only three morning shows on WIVK in our 65-year history. This is THE job for a team that wants to become part of a legacy.

We’re looking for talent who can create original compelling content. Can you take the audience on an emotional ride? Can you make them laugh? Cry? Think? Engage? Act? Can you create “afraid-you’ll-miss-something-if-you-don’t-listen” radio. Do you possess skills in social media, video and audio editing, comfortable with public appearances and excellent in delivering live commercial endorsements in your own words?
