We want to send our best wishes to Mandy Williamson, host of Mandy In The Morning on Magic Broadcasting Top 40 WILN (Island 106)/Panama City, FL, who announced she’s headed to Lexington, KY to headline her own show. Details will be revealed soon. Her last day at Island 106 is Friday. Williamson joined WILN as an intern in 2010 and worked her way up to morning show co-host three years later. Williamson (left) took to Facebook and posted an emotional farewell video of her family in their empty house as they prepared to make their move.

WILN PD Marc Summers is now seeking a new morning co-host to team up with existing co-host/producer Jimmy Phillips. As Summers told RAMP, “I’m thrilled for Mandy and know we’ve given her the foundation to do amazing things. It’s always a challenge when you run a station with a driving focus on finding the future greats, then investing with talent coaching, allowing a wide creative lane, then giving them the freedom to experiment and grow, while always pushing them to take chances and step over the line.”

He added, “For our past talent, it’s been the springboard into Austin, Tampa, Salt Lake City, and now, Lexington, in just this past year.
