WIFC/Wausau Seeks A Brand Manager
• Midwest Communications’ heritage Top 40 WIFC/Wausau, WI is now seeking a Brand Manager, as Nikki Montgomery will be relinquishing her stripes to join morning veteran Dave Kallaway as co-host of Kallaway on the Rise, effective Sept. 2. Her prior morning show experience and love of entertaining was a leading factor in her decision. Montgomery (left) began her career with MWC as an intern 2001, and she has held numerous positions during that time, rising to Brand Manager 3 1/2 years ago.
Commenting on her impending move to mornings, Montgomery said, “I’m so excited to work side by side with Dave Kallaway. Sharing our friendship and humor with Central Wisconsin every morning on 95.5 WIFC is going to be a great way to start the day.” Kallaway said, “The old saying ‘Jack of All Trades’ needs to be updated to ‘Nikki Of All Trades.’ She’s done it all and a ton of it here at Midwest. Even though Nikki has been our boss on WIFC… we’re also longtime friends. We both love morning radio and can’t wait to wake everybody up together!!”
As a result of the change, current morning co-host Markie Scott exits. Montgomery will retain her Brand Manager duties until a replacement is named.
