WPGC Needs A New Morning Show
• Yesterday we told you that Audacy’s WPGC/Washington had parted ways with morning host Joe Clair and midday personality Sunni Puric, a 10-year station veteran.
At the time we wondered aloud about the employment status of Clair’s morning show cast mates Guy Lambert and Poet Taylor, so we reached out to Audacy corporate for clarification and received this reply: “Former morning show co-host Poet will host middays on WPGC and Guy Lambert will continue his role as News Director in Morning Drive.”
Addressing WPGC’s gaping morning drive vacancy, an Audacy spokesperson said, “WPGC will be accepting submissions for morning show candidates soon, and will announce a new morning show in the coming months.” Stay tuned for further details.
