The market’s only all-female morning team was created in Jan. 2020, shortly after former Sweet 98.5 morning co-host Matt Tompkins crossed the hall anchor mornings on Adult Hits KOOO (101.9 The Keg). Blenkush then moved up from afternoon drive to mornings alongside existing wake-up host Nikki Oswald. Blenkush has been a fixture in the hallways of NRG Media Omaha since 2015 when she started as a part-time board op. She later moved into the digital department and in 2016 was awarded middays, and later, afternoons.
Sweet 98.5 now seeks a new co-host to work alongside Nikki Oswald.
