AJR Inks With Mercury Records
• Multiplatinum band AJR has signed to the recently relaunched Mercury Records with Republic Records. The New York-based trio of brothers Adam [vocals/bass], Jack [vocals/guitar], and Ryan [guitar/piano/vocals] Met, who are currently in the midst of the U.S. leg of their OK Orchestra world tour, said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Mercury Records. We knew from our first meeting with their team that they understood our creative vision and are the right label to take the band to the next level.”
Mercury Records President Tyler Arnold commented, “We couldn’t be prouder to welcome AJR to Mercury Records. What they’ve accomplished so far, especially in the touring, radio, and streaming world is remarkable and only continues to grow. We’re so excited to join them on their journey to becoming one of the biggest acts in the world.”
AJR will join a Mercury Records roster that includes artists Post Malone, James Bay, Lord Huron, Jeremy Zucker, Chelsea Cutler, and Noah Kahan, among others. AJR Productions, the band’s own label, will work with Mercury across all future releases.
AJR’s 2017 album The Click is certified platinum, while 2019’s Neotheater marked the band’s first Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 in 2021 along with their latest, OK Orchestra, which is also certified gold.
