A&R Enhancement Underway At BBR/BMG
• BBR Music Group/BMG expands its North America A&R team with the elevation of three existing staffers and addition of two new members, all of whom will report to Katie Kerkhover, SVP, A&R, Frontline Recordings, North America.
The action begins with Camille Kenny (left), who has been promoted to VP, A&R, where she will oversee day-to-day management for the label’s recording artists as well as scouting, signing, and developing new talent for the roster.
Kenny, who joined the label in 2024, most recently served as Sr. Director, A&R. She previously held a similar role at Big Loud Records. Earlier stops include Big Loud Records, THiS Music, and WME. Kenny can be congratulated at camille@bbrmusicgroup.com.
• Succeeding Kenny as Sr. Director, A&R is Jacee Badeaux, who joins the label from Big Yellow Dog where he served as Sr. Director. Named to MusicRow‘s “Next Big Thing” and Nashville Briefings‘ “30 Under 30” industry lists, he is also the co-Chair of AIMP Young Professionals Committee. Reach Badeaux at jacee@bbrmusicgroup.com.
• Tahsin Rakib Himi has been promoted to Director, A&R Research. Himi previously spearheaded the label’s Analytics Engineering team. Previous stops include data and strategy roles at Hearst Magazines and Vox Media. Reach Himi at tahsinrakib.himi@bmg.com.
• Kennedy Nickerson has been promoted to Manager, A&R. A graduate of Belmont University, Kennedy joined the label in 2020, and was most recently Sr. Coordinator, A&R. Reach Nickerson at kennedy@bbrmusicgroup.com.
• Talia Heimanson has joined the label as A&R Coordinator. In addition to handling audio assets, she will be assisting Kerkhover day-to-day. Most recently, she supported the A&R team at Red Bull Records. Her background also includes stops at United Talent Agency (UTA) and UC Santa Barbara, where she booked live shows.
