Arista Ups Petropoulos To Head Of Promotion

• Arista Records announced the elevation of Nick Petropoulos to Senior Vice President, Head of Promotion. In his new role, Petropoulos will succeed John Boulos and spearhead the label’s promotion strategy across all formats and oversee Arista’s promotion staff throughout the U.S. In addition, he will continue to work with digital and streaming partners to break Arista’s roster locally and nationally on radio.

Petropoulos is based in New York and reports to CEO & President, David Massey, who said, “Nick has made an immediate impact since joining Arista and his vision has been a crucial element in developing and executing our promotion strategy. We have great confidence that he will continue to find unique and engaging ways to help elevate our roster globally.” Petropoulos remarked, “I’m thrilled to be stepping into this new role and look forward to leading an incredible team as we create strategic moments and exciting opportunities for our artists to break through around the world.”

Petropoulos joined the promotion team at Arista Records in early 2021. Prior to taking on this expanded role, he was directly involved in executing the labels’ promotion and radio strategy for artists such as carolesdaughter, KennyHoopla, Sigala, Tai Verdes and Tom Grennan. Petropoulos previously spent 11 years with Glassnote Records, rising to Head of Promotion.
