Arnold Named VP/A&R @ Republic
The announcement was made by Republic EVP Rob Stevenson, who commented, “Tyler represents the future of A&R. His ear is always to the ground, and once he believes in an artist he remains steadfast in all efforts. Working with him as he grows into one of the industry’s foremost executives is a true honor.” Arnold said, “To be working with artists I love at a label I’ve always been a fan of is still a dream come true for me. Republic has empowered me to trust my instincts and sign forward-thinking and game-changing artists. Rob, Monte and Avery have been amazing mentors to me and I’m grateful for their continued support and this incredible opportunity.”
A Connecticut native, Arnold accepted an internship at Republic Records in January 2014. Five months later, he left Northeastern University to assume a fulltime position as an A&R department assistant and was upped to Manager in 2015. He’s based at Republic’s NYC headquarters.
