Ashley Gowder: Free Agent
• Radio and record industry veteran Ashley Gowder is now on the loose as her position as the Midwest Regional promotion rep for Sony RED Music was eliminated — along with a few others. Gowder had been with the label for the past year. She previously spent six years on the radio side, working in promotions for Cumulus Media in Atlanta and Chicago.
Gowder is pictured here this week after a festive “Bon Voyage” dinner in honor of Walter Flakus, outgoing APD/MD/evening talent at Cumulus Alternative WKQX/Chicago, who is packing for his new APD/afternoon gig at Entercom Alternative KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle.
