Atlantic Rhythm Ups Shulman, Burden

• Atlantic Records announced some well deserved upgrades in its Rhythm Promotion Department — Motti Shulman has been promoted to SVP of Rhythm Promotion and Michelle Burden has been elevated to VP of Rhythm Promotion.

The official announcement was made in a memo from Atlantic EVP of Publicity Sheila Richman, who said, “This dynamic duo has been a team since 2019 and consistently racked up chart-topping success. Michelle has been at Atlantic since 2019. She previously worked at Warner Brothers Records, Sony Music and Def Jam. Motti has been at Atlantic for 16 years and had a long run at Def Jam as well.”

The memo continues, “Some of their biggest successes together are: Roddy Ricch with ‘The Box’ and ‘High Fashion,’ Jack Harlow with ‘What’s Poppin” and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, ‘Look Back At It.’ They gave them all their first #1 singles at radio. They are currently working Jack Harlow’s ‘Already Best Friends’ and Elektra Records’ worldwide smash, Masked Wolf, ‘Astronaut In The Ocean,’ which just went Top 10 at Rhythm Radio. Both report to Juliette Jones, EVP, Promotion.”
