Audacy Updates: Riptide, Stars & Strings
• Audacy announced additional artists joining its end-of-year beach party, Riptide Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale on December 2 & 3 — Young the Giant, Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome, AWOLNATION,Barns Courtney, lovelytheband, Weathers and The Moss will join previously announced headliners The Black Keys and Audacy Launch artist Jelly Roll, as well as Bleachers, Lovejoy, Cannons, Silversun Pickups, Misterwives, Beach Weather, Little Image, The Beaches, Jack Kays.
Alert RAMP readers did notice one major difference in the Riptide lineup since the show was initially announced. An Audacy spokesperson commented, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Flo Rida will unfortunately no longer be performing at Riptide Music Festival. We look forward to enjoying the return of this event alongside our fans and the remainder of this year’s lineup of artists.”
• On the heels of Audacy’s recent 10th annual We Can Survive concert, which raised over $600,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), the company announced its annual Stars and Strings Country concert featuring performances from HARDY, Brian Kelley, Ashley McBryde, Michael Ray, Cole Swindell, and Hailey Whitters.
Hosted by WKIS (Kiss Country 99.9)/Miami, the show is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL and will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) as a part of Audacy’s “I’m Listening” mental health initiative.
Before the show, guests can head to Hard Rock Cafe to see performances by Hailey Whitters, George Birge and Florida’s own Sammy Arriaga. The pre-party starts at 5pm and is first-come, first-served.
